When your aching for some time with the ladies in your life consider creating a at home spa day so you can relax, pamper your selves and chat the day away while you enjoy each others company. • Set a Dress Code: Don't let your friends come to your house dresses to hit the social scene. Whether you're sending out invitations, emails, or spreading the news by word of mouth, make sure you tell everyone to dress in less than their best. For an added bonus, if everyone is of age, grab some wine or champagne and orange juice to really set the theme.
• Healthy Menu: We all know that food is a big part of any party but that doesn't mean you have to throw caution to the wind and dig into a pint of Ben and Jerry's. Great some healthy snacks that everyone is sure to love. Fruit and veggie trays are a great option since they are delicious, health, and easy to snack on. You can also make more heartier foods like wraps and finger sandwiches using quality ingredients like whole wheat breads and spinach or tomato basil wraps.
• Gift Bags: Gift bags are a great way to really give your gal pals a treat. They don't have to be super expensive. Look for nail polish, nail files, lip gloss, flip flops, slippers, or cozy socks as your key gifts. To really cut costs you can give them in brown paper lunch bags using pink ribbon to tie them close. Simply use a hole puncher and punch two corresponding holes on each side of the bag. Cut a piece of pink ribbon about a foot and a half long and tie the sides together securing the gifts inside.
